Transfer Activity January 2015

Keep returning to this page to read my analysis of Liverpool's confirmed arrivals and departures this January.

In: There have been no confirmed signings as of yet.

Out: Oussama Assaidi has left Liverpool on a permanent basis, joining Dubai outfit Al Ahli for an undisclosed fee believed to be roughly £4.5 million, which is a very decent price considering how difficult a time the Moroccan had on Merseyside.

He arrived for £2.4 million as Brendan Rodgers' third signing for the club in the summer of 2012 but failed to impress, making a measly 12 appearances in total for the Reds. The highlight of his time in England came while on loan at Stoke last season, where he scored spectacular goals against Chelsea and Newcastle United.

The 26-year old returned to the Britannia stadium on a temporary basis at the start of this season, making nine appearances for the Potters, but has now cut his loan move short to complete a permanent transfer to Dubai.

We wish him all the best in his future career (13th January).

Liverpool have confirmed that Suso has left the club, joining Italian giants AC Milan on a free transfer. The 21-year old Spaniard has promised much but delivered little in the four years since signing from Cadiz. He managed to score only once in his 21 appearances.

Many fans hoped for big things from Suso, but he was never really given the opportunity to show his worth on a consistent basis in the first team. That was probably because he lacks the pace necessary to play in the attacking roles which are available in Liverpool's starting line-up.

We wish him all the best in Italy (17th January).
